SDC Foundation partnered with the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) to launch a fellowship initiative named the MDDA Urban Governance Fellowship. In this venture, we played a pivotal role in conceptualising and structuring the fellowship program, providing essential technical assistance to facilitate its successful implementation by MDDA.
Our involvement extended to supporting MDDA in the recruitment process, where we actively participated in identifying and selecting three fellows through a rigorous procedure. Additionally, we contributed to the identification of project topics, ensuring that they aligned with the objectives of the fellowship. We took a hands-on approach in facilitating the onboarding process for the selected fellows, fostering a smooth transition into the fellowship program.
Furthermore, SDC offered valuable technical guidance to the fellows throughout their research work, actively contributing to the overall success of the fellowship program. Our commitment to providing comprehensive support and direction to MDDA underscored the collaborative nature of this initiative.
