I am delighted to announce the upcoming launch of our updated and new website for the SDC Foundation. It brings me immense joy to share with you that a tremendous amount of effort has gone into the creation of this platform, and it is with great hope and anticipation that we unveil it to a wider audience.
This website serves as a cornerstone in our mission to advocate for environmental conservation, sustainable urbanization, and effective waste management. Through this platform, we aim to more prominently share our goals and initiatives with the wider community, hoping to engage and inform individuals who share our passion for safeguarding the environment and specifically, our state of Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand, our home, faces a myriad of challenges today — from climate crises to social and environmental issues. Since the inception of the SDC Foundation, it has been our mission to play a constructive role in addressing these challenges and contributing to the broader development discourse of our state. As Uttarakhand approaches its 25th year since formation, we see ourselves as non-partisan partners in the journey of its development, proud stakeholders committed to making a positive impact.
I am deeply grateful to my colleagues — Rishabh, Prerna, Praveen, Pyare Lal, Devika and Neelam — for their invaluable contributions to the design, content, and compilation of our website. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition, and I am forever indebted to them for their commitment to our cause.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Siam Naulak, the brains behind the website. Siam has demonstrated exceptional patience and expertise, diligently incorporating each and every piece of feedback, no matter how small, and efficiently managing the entire process. His unwavering dedication has been vital to the success of this endeavor, and I am truly grateful for his efforts.
